Man Of Faith

He spoke with such authority,
The man of faith we came to see.
He said “God has blessed me with prosperity,
Why should I be ashamed, of what He´s given to me’?
He´s got a new continental, out in the back,
With three bodyguards,
In case he is attacked.
He´s the man faith, and he´s fighting the fight,
But he´s building his kingdom, off the widow´s mite,
And it´s a shame, to Jesus name.

We bought his books, and his cassettes,
We got his new, videotape.
He said, “God will bless you, let there be no mistake,
If you purchase my books, and some of my tapes’.
He´s got a new continental, out in the back,
And a Lear jet,
Cause he´s headed out fast.
He´s the man faith, and he´s fighting the fight,
But he´s making his living, off the widow´s mite,
And it´s a shame, to Jesus name

Old Leonard said, when we all get to Heaven,
With, riches there untold.
The TV preachers, with shovels in hand,
Will be digging up, the streets of gold.
They got new continentals, out in the back,

You say you a revolution,
You say you´re gonna change the world.
You think you got the right solution,
You´re waiting for it all to occur.
But what about truth and mercy,
What about the helpless and poor,
What about helping the needy,
They´re right outside of your door.
What about that-How bout that!

You say your going to take the city,
Your going to be the light of the world.
You say that there´s an open heaven,
But there´s something that you´ve missed for sure!
What about the widow in need and the fatherless-
You´re spending all the tithes you receive,
Somewhere else I guess.
Your filling up your coffers and you think you are blessed-
And your storing it for yourself,
And know one else.
Your telling me about the vision,
That God is going to do something new-
You tell me I´m a history maker,
I´m one of the chosen few.
